Our Story
A warm, happy little corner of Downtown Luling
Moonrise Cafe opened its doors on E Davis Street with a simple idea: make a place where a cup of coffee feels like a hug. From the moment you walk in, the ladies behind the counter greet you like family — and that friendliness carries through everything we serve, from our espresso drinks to our fresh-baked pastries.
Everything here is made with care. Muffins and croissants are baked fresh, soups are simmered slow, and our chicken salad sandwich has become a local favorite. Whether you're stopping in for a quick espresso on your commute or settling in for a girls' brunch, our clean, comfortable dining room is set up for lingering a little longer.
We're a small crew with a big heart for this community — family friendly, affordable, and always glad to see you. As one regular put it, we've got a "warm, relaxed and happy vibe," and that's exactly what we're going for, every single morning.
